KeraTect® The easy way to keep ceramic surfaces clean

The hygienic KeraTect finish

Geberit ONE washbasin with high-quality ceramic surface

When it comes to cleaning, the surface of the sanitary ceramic always plays a decisive role: the smoother it is, the easier it is to clean the product. This is why Geberit has developed the extremely smooth and hygienic KeraTect finish, which ensures long-lasting protection of ceramic surfaces.

By creating a virtually non-porous and extremely smooth surface, WCs and washbasins can be kept clean with maximum efficiency and ease.

WCs and washbasins in the Geberit ONE and Geberit Xeno² bathroom series are coated with KeraTect as standard. The special glaze is also optionally available for other bathroom series. Experience what a difference it makes for yourself and you might even enjoy cleaning the bathroom again!

Benefits and properties of KeraTect

Hand brushes over a WC with a KeraTect® finish

KeraTect is not a coating like many other ceramic surfaces on the market, but is rather fired into the ceramic at high temperatures as a special glaze. The advantage of this glaze is that it fills in any unevenness, resulting in an extremely smooth surface finish.

Adding KeraTect is always a smart choice, as its virtually non-porous finish means it largely prevents deposits of dirt, limescale particles and bacteria on the surfaces of ceramic appliances.

Overview of KeraTect benefits:

  • Makes ceramic surfaces extremely smooth and virtually non-porous
  • Has a dirt-repellent effect to keep bathroom ceramics clean for longer
  • Requires minimal maintenance
  • Offers long-lasting durability and remains scratchproof
